Renewal® recommends you always use the best quality underlay. Generally,
the thicker the underlay, the more luxurious the carpet will feel underfoot.
An important aspect to consider when choosing underlay is the inherent resilience of the product. No matter how generous an underlay may initially appear, if the product has poor resilience then it will quickly flatten.
